One of a kind locally handcrafted art throughout. Abundant hiking and scenic vistas abound. Some are even in walking distance. After a day full of adventure and exploring. A fantastic experience! The drive and directions are easy. Reality was better than the very good pictures. Clean, up to date, pretty, a fine cabin. Kitchen is very nice. We cook. Double oven. Hot showers! Hot tub was clean and hot! We do this alot and we were really impressed and this cabin is one that we will really request again. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

We LOVED our stay! When your goal is to disconnect and truly be IN the mountains, this is the spot. No cell service (unless you choose to access the wifi) is a beautiful thing.
The house and surrounding land are perfect. Our family of four, including our kiddos aged 7 and 6 did not want to leave. The house itself has tons of character, and the property proved to be full of adventure. A big breakfast each morning courtesy of the gas stove, yoga in the sun room, relaxing in the hot tub, a great home cooked dinner, and smores (and wine) by the fire. That was our daily routine.
You are a 20-minute drive to anywhere you want to be... VC, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mtn, etc. We hiked each day, but also wanted to just hang at the cabin. So quiet and peaceful.
Beds are great. The house is equipped well. Could use another chair/recliner in the family room. Kitchen has all the goodies you need to cook well.
Beyond another seat in the family room, and maybe a post with hooks by the hot tub to hang your towels, our every need was met.
Tip - the master bed and loft fan/light combos were missing the chain for the light portion. We opted to remove the bulbs in order to leave the fans on at night... without the lights.
The gravel drive in is well maintained and smooth. No problems (in good weather) with a sedan or in our case, mini-van.
