Not what we expected, but it was a nice relaxing place away from home.

I think the location was very nice. The view was mostly beautiful. I loved that we had our own personal hot tub to ourself. As well as our own personal porch with rocking chairs. It was a cute little home away from home. The bed and couch was comfy. The house was mostly cleaned. We appreciated the extra sheets and towels. We also, appreciated the extra slippers, ice inside the freezer and spray for the bathroom. We thought those details were nice. Also, we very glad to see stairs lead up to the top beds and not a scary latter. Made it easier to go up and down the top beds. (Not that they were used but we like the option.) Last but not least, one of the best parts was not being close to the other locations/houses. It really gave us our own sense of privacy.

The overall place seemed rather small. In the house, the toilet is very close to the sink and it was very hard to sit and go to the bathroom comfortably. When changing, I hit my hands on the ceiling a couple times and I am average height. The upstairs beds were too close to the ceiling. I am claustrophobic so the upstairs scared me. There was not really much to do there. We drove around and the pond looked really green, so we were afraid to go in and swim. The Field of dreams didn’t really have much. We were not able to reach due to the tractor and wheel barrels in the way. Not much but tables and an open field. As far as cleanliness, we felt the couch was rather dirty. It had hair (dog hair?), dirt and stains. The porch paint was peeling away. The hot tub seemed dirty. Maybe because it had rainwater in it. It smelled clean so we gave it a shot. It turned off on us twice. The owners were quick in coming by to fix it. They said they had changed out the filter, but when we saw it, it was dirty. Didn’t really use the hot tub for much, which is what I was most excited about. They did tell us it would take some time to heat up, but I didn’t realize it would take all day and night. Also, on the listing it said a queen bed with two full upstairs. The bed was not a queen and I was really upset about that. Made it hard to sleep at night. The a/c also kept turning off and it was very hot at night. I wish the listing would have told us they only use rain water for showers and everything else. We were not allowed to take long showers. If I would have known, I would have not booked this place. Also it was hard to enjoy the view when to the right of the house you had these huge crates that were blocking the view. I read that you would get to see a beautiful sunset and sunrise, but you couldn’t because the house was facing in the wrong direction. It rained all weekend, so we saw no stars and the porch kept getting wet so we could not sit outside much to enjoy the view.

Awesome...

The location was great and easily accessible to all the places we were visiting. In the morning and evening we enjoyed the front porch with views and watched for the animals, deer, a coyote and some type of cat? Our dog felt very welcome.

Seating area in living room was not the most comfortable, but we were not in there that much and the bed made up for it in the evening.

Little paradise

The place was amazing and had everything you need. The view is stunning, great sunrise and sunset. So relaxing, and close to everything's we wanted to visit.

I wish I could stay longer.
