The location was fabulous; there was an allocated parking space which is lovely after a seven hour journey. The cottage was warm and welcoming, clean and cosy, a real home-from-home. Instructions for using the house appliances were easy to understand, and there was a great deal of information, maps and guides on the local area. I would definitely go back again.
It did take me a little while to figure out the hob! I genuinely can't thing of anything else that was seen as a negative though.

Location was fantastic!! The downstairs was snug and a family of 4 is fine but more would struggle to relax in front of the TV comfortably.
Bedrooms and bathroom were perfect. Nice and clean throughout
No dishwasher although we were left dishwasher tablets which was strange.
Literally only 1 toilet roll per bathroom which was a bit tight.
Downstairs sofas were not the most comfy but a few days away it didn’t matter so much to us. Any longer though could’ve been frustrating to relax in the evenings properly.

The location was very nice and accessible to go visit other parts of lake district which were not that far from the location. The small village shops were so nice to visit too.
There was a skip just sitting outside the cottage although there was no work done in the cottage. The departure time was a bit too early for us to leave.

No washing machine! But they’ve sent a message before check in to start the washing machine when it’s full. But there isn’t… The staff can’t help about anything.
