Great property in great location. Easy walk to main sites in Funchal. Owner was awesome and great communications.

Great views of Funchal and neat apartment

Great view of the city of Funchal. Outdoor space was good. Kitchen facilities very good. We found the location quite convenient although the walk back up to the flat from the city was steep - save some energy to get back up the hill!

Bathroom was quite small and could do with a freshen up in the shower area. Beds were quite narrow and the pillows hard.

Awful experience due to cockroaches

The outdoor space is amazing and made our experience bearable as we just spent minimum time in the actual house Host was responsive and communication was good Location is great, especially the proximity to the cafe

Unfortunately there was a cockroach infestation. I'm not talking about a few, we found over 30 in the main house during our stay. The anxiety of this really impacted my sleep and time within the house. Host blamed fruit trees but we have travelled all over the world and never seen this issue. Although the host was responsive and apologetic, we haven't been offered any form of refund. We did look for alternative accommodation but due to it being last minute, everything was booked up and we had to remain in the house. There were no cushions out for the sun loungers Mould in the main house bathroom above the shower (other bathroom was fine) Main house needs a deep clean (especially bathroom) Wardrobes smelt so musky that we didn't keep our clothes in there
