Galazia Apartments

Wonderful visit. Our host and his family were exceptional. New. Nice room with a balcony. Spacious. Was a great location. Easy walk to the beach, right by a grocery store if you need anything and right by nice restaurants. Also safe location for two women travelers.

We loved the family hosts and personal touches. The hosts were kind, generous and helpful. Interiors were nicely designed with art works by the hosts adding a nice authentic touch. Location couldn’t be better, between the beach and the restaurants and shops of the old town.

There was nothing.

The location was lovely, the hotel was quiet and very clean. It's all new and stylish. Looked lovely. The beach was literally a 2-minute walk away, and a few grocery stores on the way. So it was easy to get water for the room and small snacks.

the rooms are smaller than we expected, and the mattress was not very comfortable. We stayed for a week and almost every night we slept badly, and we couldn't understand why until later. The hosts were great, but for us it felt a little intrusive than welcoming. One day, when we came back from the beach, there was banana bread left for us. In general, the gesture is amazing and super generous; however, I did not like the fact that someone was entering our room without asking. On our last day, when we were leaving, we were allowed to leave our luggage at reception, which is again very generous and helpful. The hotel reception ordered us a taxi for later - very helpful. We then left for lunch and to walk around town for a few hours, and when we came back the taxi was already there packing our luggage. We met them on the road in action. We ordered the taxi for 1:50pm and we came back at 1:45pm and saw the taxi packing our luggage. I understand the intention behind it, but I personally did not like my belongings being handled without me being there or me requesting this sort of service. Not horrible, but these touches are what make me not recommend this place.

Julian and his family are fantastic, welcoming hosts. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is ideal for both the town and the beach. Highly recommend.
