The AC was lovely to have in the hot weather, and presumably quite modern as it was quiet.
Local Co-op was only a 5 minute walk away and had a great range of fresh food including ready made meals. Bins were quite near too (you have to empty all the bins before you leave or risk a €50 fine).
The apartment building is quiet.
There are 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. However, if you want to use the sofa bed as a bed there is a €30 charge for the use of a sheet for it.
The location wasn't as good as I had thought - quite a walk from the station with suitcases. Also it is quite a far walk from the coast/promenade with all the bars and restaurants.
WiFi was very slow.
There is no oven, just a microwave combi. No toaster that I could see.
The elevator was very small, looked too small for a pram. If you are even slightly claustrophobic you could not use it. However it's good exercise going up 4 flights!
When you first arrive it's difficult to open the door. Whilst the key is in the (bottom) lock, use the handle to pull the door towards you. We had to ring the host as none of us could open it, but once she told us this tip, it was fine.
