Check in was quick and the young lady at the front desk was super friendly. I had sent a message prior to my visit with a small request and the reason why. When we got to our room, not only did they honor my request, but there was a very sweet surprise waiting for us! So thoughtful and definitely above and beyond.
The room itself was so beautifully decorated and well thought out. It had a naturally comfortable feel while being a step above the norm.
There is an area at check-in that has provisions like snacks and adult beverages while also offering clothing, jewelry and gifts.
I absolutely loved the sitting area off the lobby. Such a well designed and beautifully decorated space. It's the type of area you would just love to spend time in. The views of the port, and the water were just fantastic.
If this hotel was this impressive off season, I would absolutely choose this property for a vacation during the summer. The Shoals is little hidden gem, trust me.

I got 2 reservations and got a key for both of them, gave them my CC etc. not comfortable when 2 days later in the morning a manager with front desk employee were knocking on my door yelling “open the door, open the door!” with excuses I didn’t check in again, nobody told me I have to. I wasn’t dressed up I wasn’t expecting anyone I did nothing wrong. Kinda crazy treatment of their customers who reserved a room for over then week. Very unprofessional, they should call me first and if they don’t have my cell they should write a letter and leave it behind the door. Looks like no customers skills here.

Clean, great decor , beautiful views, and convenient location to vineyards and a number of private beaches. Staff was wonderful making great recommendations. Check in was smooth and i felt welcomed. Overall a great place to stay! Definitely coming back.

We loved our stay at The Shoals! We arrived hours before check in without notice. Our room was ready so they allowed us to check in and they even gave us a free upgrade. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spotless and the beds were amazing. I havent enjoyed a hotel saty this much in i dont know how long. I will definitely be going back.

We enjoyed the view of the sitting area/lounge.
My only tiny complaint, the walls are very thin. I was able to hear other guest TV or conversations.

The Shoals was a clean and comfortable with stunning views of the ocean and stylish decor. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and even went through the trouble of sending chocolates and wine to our room when they heard that we were in town to pick up a wedding dress.
We also loved our room and how chic and spacious it was, we had four girls and two queen beds and had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchenette was also a plus!
Can't wait to come back and stay again!

Mom and pop place perfect for a weekend get away. We got lucky with the weather and the view of the bay was a fresh of breath air.

lovely rooms, pricy. So the fee, I'd expect internet access to be functional. it was only on one of our 3 days. repeatedly told them about the problem - was told it was due to 'the wind'. however, even on our last day when there was no wind, the internet was still not functional

We really enjoyed this hotel! The rooms are super spacious and extremely clean. The kitchenette is a nice addition to the room and it is stocked with some plates and glassware. Perfect for cutting up some cheeses and pouring yourself a glass of wine and relaxing on the balcony. The property is right off of a busy road so there are cars whizzing by but we couldn't hear it from inside the room.
The staff was so nice and helpful during our stay and there was a lovely little breakfast in the common area every morning with delicious muffins, croissants, bagels and fruit/yogurt. A very pleasant way to start our days.
We also really enjoyed the Little Ram food truck! We were only able enjoy Wednesday's happy hour as they were closed the other days during our stay. The oysters and clam dip were fantastic and we look forward to stopping in for more one day!

Really great if you own a boat & didn’t want to stay on it, mini kitchen, roomy bath, amenities. Breakfast good, didn’t expect dry croissants given the pedigree, muffins excellent, no non-sweet offered as in bagel or roll. No view, but step out & it’s lovely on pier. It was hot wave & at time no umbrellas, or any outdoor lounge area except covered picnic tables for eating. Great private boat with captain available & it was fab 2 hours, however, overly expensive. Could find less leaving property at other marina areas. Bad: Our pillows were stinky, could be humidity, but smelled like B.O. only 2 night stay, sheets certainly looked clean.

This property is very nice with great decor and a cute food truck outside to give you a nice fun feel. I was surprised to find this. It’s near some great wineries and not too far from Greenport. They had minor issues such as their door locks locking where keys and their master keys wouldn’t work. Also the area to the check-in is prone to flooding making it difficult to get to. We had checked in during a rainstorm so that made things difficult. I would recommend it overall though it’s a very cute place. Each room has a kitchen also.

Well it is a beautiful place. The room had a kitchen...the stove did not work, had to call them. Then when we went to use the kitchen there were NO pots or cooking utensil's......
They did not give us enough towels... very strange.
One women at the front desk was very rude... like she did not want to be bothered. We were spending alot of money there and it should have been top rated service. Also when we asked questions about things around the area....they did not know. Really? Know the area...that is what they are there for. They have a lawn and there is a beach area..but NO beach chairs...

Amazing modern hotel with breathtaking views of the bay and marina. Very attentive staff, delicious breakfast and outdoor lunch options. Loved everything about this hotel.
