Comfortable boutique hotel within walking distance of Valetta’s many tourist attractions. Room was spacious and comfortable and had an enclosed balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was included in the price and was good. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Valetta.

Delightful hotel in a convenient and charming location . The staff could not have been nicer to us. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a central hotel that was still somewhat affordable and glad I chose this one. My favorite part was being able to have breakfast in my room for no extra charge. That is much more comfortable than sitting in a small room solo. The staff was great for communication prior to arriving when I had flight delays. The room was comfortable overall, however the bed was one of the worst. That would not stop me from staying there again if in the city.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. It's a relatively quiet part of the main attraction area.

We had a fantastic break in Valetta but were ultimately somewhat disappointed with the hotel. The hotel itself was beautifully renovated and decorated and the rooms lovely, all very stylish. The rooftop bar is not a bar, just a roof terrace (fabulous views of Valetta!), if you want a drink up there you have to phone or WhatsApp the reception six floors below! There is no other bar! We had a couple of issues, in themselves not huge problems, just hiccups but the way they were handled was nothing short of hopeless, with barely an apology from the manager - who was the actual problem! Lovely stylish property, great location and should be better than it is.

What an amazing boutique hotel. Excellent service from the entire staff. So close to everything & the best kept secret is it’s rooftop.

the hotel is fashionable.

smart modern boutique hotel, themed in dark grey. Very efficient service, helpful staff, good lift serving all floors, including roof top with fabuous views over the grand harbour. Very comfortable bed, large spacious room. Good bathroom but it suffered from being over deisgned - nothing as vulgar as somewhere practical to hang our towels..!.Uninspired and rather limited breakfast.

Very nice hotel, nice location near Fort St Elmo. Rooftop bar was closed while we were there, but is an excellent vista for a drink. Well appointed rooms with Maltese balconies. I would recommend cabbing here, parking a car a definite issue.

Fantastic Hotel with stunning views over the Grand Harbour in Valletta, all the staff were very helpful, good selection of continental breakfast. Couldn't fault the location for access to everything Valletta as to offer. Highly recommended.

A really great adaptation of the property into a luxury hotel. In a very hot week the room was cool and the fridge meant I could keep additional water cold. Staff unfailingly welcoming. Will be back to this lovely hotel.

The hotel is located in a beautiful building and well designed. It would be great to have some food options at the roof top bar for dining. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly.

My girlfriend and I had a lovely 4 night stay at Palazzo Ignazio. We had a room with a balcony and hot tub, which was great to relax in in the moments when we weren’t exploring the city. The rooftop bar is small but the views are amazing and we went there for a sundowner every evening. The hotel is well located for exploring the city. A special mention to all the staff who went out of the way to help us throughout our stay.

The location of the is perfect and the hotel itself is just what we expected. The room was very comfortable and bathroom was super. There was a roof terrace with stunning views of the harbour.

Whilst the hotel was fine, sadly we were not given the (better equipped & larger) room that we had booked through Expedia. The hotel claims that this issue was not theirs and that we had to take it up with Expedia. This is too much hassle, but would seriously consider booking directly with a hotel in future to avoid this sort of thing. If the weather had been worse and we'd have had to spend more time in the room theis would have become a serious issue

We booked one of the suites with a balcony hot tub and it absolutely made the last weekend of our trip. The place is so cute and central in Valletta, and the employees really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing, whether it was helping us heat up the hot tub or booking the spa, opening wine, giving directions, providing coffee when my room was being prepared, replenishing our water in the room, etc. The general manager Antoine even came to speak to us at the end of our stay and ensure everything had been great. The breakfast is in the attached cafe and has pastries, meat, cheese, hardboiled eggs, juice, and made to order coffees. There is also an amazing spa on the first floor that is free for guests, just book a time slot and you get private access to the jacuzzi and sauna in there and can bring your own drinks in, we loved it! We were there off season so rooftop bar was closed. Overall incredible stay, highly recommend.

Antoine and his team were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. This boutique hotel is within walking distance of the main streets, museums, palaces, restaurants, and eateries in this beautiful historic city. It was a pleasure staying at their hotel and one that I would recommend to any would-be travelers to Valletta. Bez

This is a wonderful hotel. After you walk through a nondescript facade, you are transported to a modern, well-maintained boutique hotel. The staff are all exceptional, and the facilities in the room are top-notch. The views from the rooftop bar are gorgeous. The location in old-town Valletta is perfect for exploring everything on foot. Overall, this hotel is a real gem.

Palazzo Ignazio is a new boutique hotel in Valletta that I stayed at for 5 nights right after it opened in July 2022. I would happily recommend staying at this hotel and would return.
THE PEOPLE: Everyone was very nice and Alex, the owner, was particularly hospitable. I only wish I could have stayed longer to chat more! The fridge was stocked full of goodies, including gluten free items, since I made it known that I am gluten intolerant in my reservation. I thought this was very thoughtful.
THE ROOM: The room was modern (completely renovated!), large (probably around 300-350 sq ft) and clean (housekeeping did a great job cleaning each day). The room even had its only private open balcony with flowers and patio furniture.
THE ROOFTOP: You get a 360 degree view of Valletta from floor 6 (or floor 7 if you’re from North America) and the views were unbeatable. Stunningly beautiful experience sitting and watching the sunset on numerous nights. Because I was there during Valletta Festa, I also got to watch the fireworks from the rooftop. When I was there, the rooftop bar had not opened yet but I understand it will open in the next few days. In the interim, I just brought my own wine up!
THE LOCATION: Cannot be beat. It is incredibly central within the walled city but one block off of the main streets so it is quieter and less hectic. Super close to Valletta Market, where, among other things, there is a grocery store for you to pick up water, snacks, sunscreen etc.
