Wonderfully quiet. Lovely to have the space provided, with not only the bedroom, but the sitting room and kitchenette as well.

Good location, my son liked the fold up bed and enjoyed browsing the books.. it was only a flying visit but was perfectly placed for our itinerary. Plenty of towels, leaflets on places to go.

1, It is a bedroom bathroom and living room which the owner has access to. 2, It is in need of modernisation. 3, The facilities listed are nothing to do with the property.

An exceptional Stay

A lovely old fashioned home feeling, felt very much like a piece of home away from home. I loved all the books and it had every facility you could think off. The cute garden at the front was perfect. Plenty of amenities locally and the host was most gracious.

Not an enjoyable experience.

The bath was very comfortable with hot water. Did have a washing machine and a dishwasher, plus a fridge/freezer.

The bed mattress was that bad you could the springs through your spine. Needs a new mattress. The apartment was misrepresented. It's the 1st floor of a house. Not segregated or seperated. Which made both of ourselves feel not at ease. Host belongings were in the cupboards and draws in the hallway and living room. No stove to cook anything. Not even a plug in portable stove. Just a microwave. There was a musty smell throughout.

Good location to the hospital where I was working. Free on-road parking outside property Clean enough - staying in a person's home ultimately so expect it to feel lived in.

Not as private as advertised - there is a lock on the bedroom door but essentially staying in the same property as the host. I expected the floors to be separated more securely. Pull cord for the main bedroom light didn't work. Fridge/freezer didn't appear to be working but the property served its purpose to get a nights sleep before working again the next morning.

Disappointing

No parking outside house had to park near disused garages, wet through bringing shopping in. House needs a good clean & refurb.

I did not feel comfortable in this property

Well located for me in the lovely village of Scalby

Rooms not separate from owners home - not able to lock it secure - as lone female I felt uncomfortable not doing this No usable kitchen facilities- area off the bathroom had jumble of kitchen equipment in it but no running water or sink Place smelt musty & damp and of cigarette smoke seemingly coming from owners rooms
