Nestled in the woods on Lake Hamilton's Long Island, The Owl House is a peaceful oasis for a family getaway or friends' adventure. Located off Central Avenue, we are just minutes from all the famous Hot Springs attractions!
The Owl House is an A-frame home and has been completely updated for 2022 with new appliances and granite. The large covered patio is perfect for having a lunch or reading a book! For longer stays, we have a washer and dryer, smart TV, and a desk and wifi for digital nomads.
The space: The house has two units, one upstairs (also available on Airbnb) and one downstairs, with separate entrances. You have exclusive access to the downstairs unit, the covered patio, and carport. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open living room, dining room, and kitchen.

We really liked this property. It’s a great location - close to everything but still with a quiet, secluded feel. It was clean, had comfy beds, and had all the amenities we wanted (grill, laundry, big porch with patio furniture). The covered parking was nice, too. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was fantastic! It was in a great location and had everything we need at the property. I guess I didn’t read the description well enough, because there was someone staying above us. I try to not choose those kinds of listings because we have noisy children! Not a downgrade at all - I just didn’t want to disturb someone! The beds were comfortable and the unit didn’t felt plenty large for our family of four. We really enjoyed the fact that there are bandaids for emergency scrapes and some stuffies for my daughter! She loved it!

We had a fantastic stay at this property and would absolutely come back. One of the standout features was the privacy—it truly felt like our own space without any distractions.The home itself is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out both indoors and outdoors. It never felt cramped, even with a full group, and the layout made it easy to enjoy both shared time and quiet moments.The amenities were excellent and clearly well thought out. Everything we needed was provided, making the stay comfortable and convenient from start to finish. You can tell the hosts put effort into creating a seamless experience.We also felt safe the entire time, which added a lot of peace of mind during our stay.A special highlight was the covered porch—it was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening relaxation, rain or shine.Overall, this property checks all the boxes: private, spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great getaway.
