Excellent location (quiet but short walk to town) and exactly what we wanted in a villa for our week long stay.
The pool was amazing and actually exceeded expectations. It was bigger than the pictures made it seem.
All the rooms were super comfortable. The extra toilet room was very helpful and the bidets most appreciated.
If we were to totally nitpick the only issues we could find in the whole house was that the outside bin was very small so we had to use extra bin bags and one of the rooms didn't have a mirror. Both of these things caused us no issues at all.

Das war Urlaub ab der ersten Minute. Wir wurden herzlich mit Wasser, Obst, Bier und hauseigenem Olivenöl, Brot und Raki empfangen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und hochwertig ausgestattet. Es gibt Mückengitter in den Fenster und Türelementen, was immer sehr hilfreich ist. Der Bäcker ist 1 Minute entfernt, der Supermarkt 3 Min., zum Strand sind wir 8 min. gelaufen. Der Pool und der Garten sind toll beleuchtet und die Terrassen verfügen über ausreichend Stühle, Tische und Liegen. Am Pool sind Sonnenschirme installiert und auch die wundervollen Olivenbäume und Orangenbäume spenden Schatten und schaffen eine wundervolle Atmosphäre. Das Haus und der Garten wurden mit viel Liebe und durchdacht eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus jederzeit für einen Aufenthalt auf Kreta wieder buchen. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich für die Hilfsbereitschaft bei allen Fragen und die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

The villa was super clean, the beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped with thoughtful touches like foil, cooking spices oils etc all provided. Communication from the host was fantastic. There are plenty of excellent restaurants, bars, coffee shops, bakeries in Plakias, its a gem. We also loved nearby Damnoni
Unfortunately the road passing the villa is very noisy and surprisingly busy for such a small village. The pool area is overlooked, both by the building site next door and the resort to the back so it didnt feel very private.

Paul's villa is a modern and beautifully designed place within walking distance of Plakias Beach and the village center. We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who showed us around and were always happy to provide tips and information whenever we had questions. It’s the perfect spot if you want to explore Plakias and the surrounding area but prefer to stay outside the busy center. Although the house is close to the main road, it never disturbed us—inside it’s completely quiet, and even outside we barely noticed any passing cars. Another big plus is the private parking space on the property. We would definitely stay here again!
