The best thing about this property was its location. It was perfectly situated, with many attractions just a short drive away, which made it an excellent base for exploring the area. We also appreciated that all the essential appliances worked very well, including the kettle, toaster, dishwasher, and oven. Another big advantage was that there was always plenty of hot water, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. (The only downside to the location was that the cottage is situated on a very busy road. Although there are two parking spaces, they are very tight and not really suitable for two larger cars.)
The main downside was the parking. Although there are two parking spaces, they are extremely tight, making it very difficult to park, especially if you have larger cars. One of the double bedrooms was a good size, but the second one was very small and quite cramped. This wasn’t a major issue for us, as we usually spend most of our time exploring the area rather than staying inside the property.
Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the outdoor space. The patio/garden is very small, entirely concrete, and looks neglected. It isn’t an inviting place to sit or relax, especially during warm weather.
Although the property appeared clean at first glance, it unfortunately wasn’t cleaned to a high standard. The floors, carpets, doors, windows, cupboards, kitchen units, handles, and other surfaces all needed a thorough clean. It felt like only a quick surface clean had been done rather than a proper deep clean. Because of this, I chose not to use the bed linen provided and used my own instead. However, I must say that the towels were spotlessly clean and fresh, which was a big positive.

Very comfortable, well equipped property with everything you could need. Great location for where we wanted to visit. Extra touches from the host much appreciated on arrival and good communication.
Nothing everything worked really well for us, I have a small car so the slim driveway entrance wasn’t a problem for us.

Very cosy house and well orgnized.
The garage is too narrow for a car to park. One slight misjudge your car will get scratched or dent.
