Location next to Porsche Driving experience
There was quite a lot of dust under the bed which I only discovered due to a child’s toy having gone under the bed.

The location - we were there purely for Silverstone driving experience and had 5th floor track view which was superb!
The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I know peoples mattress preferences differ but it genuinely felt like I was sleeping on a solid surface. The pillows were awful - we were there only one night and it was a terrible sleep unfortunately.
Paid £18 per head for breakfast buffet - limited options for proper food a lot of cakes pastries etc but I expect more for £18pp for a few sausages and under cooked bacon. The toaster took nearly 20 minutes to eventually work by that time we had to leave anyway.
Due to the above I feel value for money was definitely not there.

The room, spacious and well equipped. The bar seating and balcony area. Great view of the track. The food was really good.
no bedside table so charging my phone, balanced on the bed frame which fell and hit my spectacles that were on the floor and smashed them.
Huge staffing issues in quantity and quality. No acknowledgment, not wanting to help, slow, bar took an absolute age , no matter the time of day. Bar and restaurant staff not friendly or helpful. Except a slightly ginger barman that was working Sunday on the bar at 1pm and a young dark hair very smiley lad working Friday night in the bar waiting tables. He was fabulous and tackled our missing order head on and got it all rectified with confidence. Service is the biggest issue. A lot of bar and restaurant staff seem to hate to be there. Miserable , potentially understaffed. No one tidying up the empty glasses. I had to ask 3 times for the barman to use a gin glass for gin and tonic not a straight glass. There were some available so unsure why they don’t use the correct glass for correct drink. The system of the square bar I don’t think works. Staff do not know who’s next, who’s been waiting and staff only at one or two of the 4 edges serving .
