It was very clean, comfortable and located in a very quiet area about 900 m above sea level.

The dirt track that led from the main road to the property was in very poor condition. Although driveable with great care, we were pleased not to have a small car to have to drive down this track. This is not the properties owners so responsibility as there are other properties down the same track. The kitchen had lots of covered and drawer space. But the space was organised so poorly that there was no cupboard space to put our food in – apart from the fridge. Otherwise the kitchen had all the facilities you could want for staying a week in the property.

Good position for Muchachos, La Zarza, and north coast. Quiet, remote, modern & well equipped.

An exceptionally well appointed, excellently equipped, spacious, very comfortable, modern home, with all modern appliances and fittings. The location would have been very good for visiting Roque de Los Muchachos, but we were there during the week that Storm Therese hammered the island, so the LP-4 and Muchachos were closed at the time. The weather didn't abate, it lashed in, but the house was dry, comfortable and homely. We did however have to put the small heater on, because of the chill from the storm. It was remote, so it was fantastically quiet and dark at night. Lovely. Such a shame that the storm prevented us from being able to look at the night sky - I think stargazing from this location would have been perfect. There was a very good BBQ area, that sadly we didn't manage to use because of the weather. You really are alone out here, which to us, is rare and fantastic these days.

My husband had a tepid shower and on investigating why this was, he discovered that the earth leakage had tripped on the power supply. Likely this was because the electrical box was outside and prone to the weather. It was very wet in the box, despite the closed cover on it, so perhaps this wet was from the storm and that tripped it, or perhaps it was the lightning from the storm that knocked it out. Once back on, there was nice hot water. The access road to this rural property is a dirt track and Storm Therese had really gouged deep ruts and gullies into it, No-one could have foreseen the immense damage done all over the island, but it did make getting to the house and then back to the main road quite nerve wracking in a small hire car.
