We was welcome from the start. Alasa & Noah and all the staff were excellent and lovely. It’s right in the middle of town.
Excellent food homemade (fish pie is fantastic).
Very clean rooms are basic but you don’t go on holiday to sit in your room.

The pub is in an excellent location, it has so much charm and character, the family room was done out very well and we couldn’t have wanted anything more.
The bed mattress wasn’t to our taste but that is a personal choice.

Old place, 1600s in a very neat old fishing village
We were in room one, floor was on about a 3” lean, which is not uncommon in old places, but the bed was on the same lean. Would have been easy to level the bed with wooden blocks, and when I mentioned this, was told nobody else has ever complained about the bed. Was cold so got a spare duvet out of the cupboard and found it had bad stains all over it. Bit of a shock! I guess when it had its cover on nobody would know!
