The cottage is not only beautiful, spacious and comfortable, but it is also right on the beach, with direct access to corals full of marine life. Jan and Ian, the owners, along with their staff were super lovely and helpful. We really felt at home in this place and could have stayed for weeks.
It's independent from the owners, who do a good job of managing their dogs, but there are unfortunately lots of dogs in the neighbourhood that can get very loud at night. Good earplugs do the trick though.

Jan was a wonderful host and had lots of great information about the area, such as the buses, dive spots and other great info for travellers. The kayak was a bonus and access to Savusavu is easy, via walking, busing or taxi.
Thanks for having us Jan, we would definitely love to return one day.

Lovely cottage with lots of space! Gorgeous indoor outdoor feel and wonderful little kitchen. Great to have a large shower and bathroom. It was raining most of the time we were there so we didn’t get a chance to snorkel from the property but it sounds like there are great options. Hosts are incredibly lovely and welcoming! Take a look at the guide book for the property, tons of great info in there!
It can definitely be tricky to get taxis, especially on Sunday’s or at night, unless you know your plans and can schedule one ahead of time. We had pretty good chances by just starting to walk towards town and getting picked up along the way, although it was usually by a kind local and rarely a taxi. But this definitely isn’t very safe to do at night.
