Excellent price a short walking distance from downtown.
The digital "key" was offline and I finally figured out I could enter through the very loud nightclub on the first floor. There were bright lights from the parking lot shining into the room. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The trash was overflowing and there was no recycling. The "emergency exit" had people going thru to smoke. The others in my room had so much stuff there was no where to put my bag.

This place is a lifesaver when you've got nowhere else to go. $30 a night plus a $35 deposit, you won't find that rate anywhere else. The blankets and pillows are amazingly soft, that's surprising. The only downside is no comforters, just a sheet. Also, a few minor things need fixing, like the lock in room 5. But it's always clean, with hot water, two fridges, microwave, and stove. In short, it's ideal if you're low-maintenance and don't want to pay for extras you won't use

I liked the interior decor of the hostel but that's pretty much it. The living room area was spacious and comfortable.
It was very cold in the dorms and the air conditioning unit was very, very loud. Mattress wasn't particularly comfortable and bedsheets felt pretty artificial. The kitchen was rather dirty, the trash wasn't taken out. Most taps and showers in the bathroom didn't work properly and there was no proper door locking system and no separate shower rooms for men and women. The area around the hostel didn't feel safe when I got there after 9 pm.
