The hosts were welcoming and kind. They also set up the barbecue for us to use outside. Clean, modern and good amenities.
The twin room was a bit smaller than expected.

The owner was nice when we met him on the second day of the stay (we were leaving the next day)
The room was pretty expensive for Slovenia (standard for Bovec) and the comfort, quality and condition of the room and overall building was not good.
The room itself was dark inside, noisy from being next to the corridor, entrance, and being on the ground floor with windows to nearby houses / alleyways.
The linen was not hotel / guesthouse standard - it was pretty worn and tired looking. The bed was cheap and uncomfortable.
The door to the room had frosted windows which is very strange and we had to cover it to block light out.
The shower ran out of hot water.
It is quite out of town, however this might be good for some people and it is close to a lovely spot to swim in the river under the bridge.
Overall I got the impression that Bovec is very expensive for accommodation due to the limited number of rooms for the level of demand from tourists. I felt that this property was charging the most it could, without investing in the property or guest amenities. My advice to the owners would be to make investments to improve rapidly as otherwise you will be left behind and people will make other choices as room supply increases in time.
