Property was amazing 10/10. Beautifully decorated with lovely underfloor heating. Very cosy and very comfortable beds. All bedrooms where big sizes. Cinema room was brilliant. Nice comfortable large couch and 2 bean bags. Nice to relax and watch a film at night. Jacuzzi was nice and warm with a pool table and darts in the same room. Very fun. Excellent would definitely stay again and definitely recommend. Went with 3 adults and 2 children aged 2 and 6. Children both really enjoyed the house also. Some good game boards in the house. Lovely outside with the canal, night lights and outdoor heater outside would be even nicer in the summer.

the perfect place for a group weekend away! there was more than enough room for everyone (9 adults), and we didn’t want to come home. We worried a little due to a storm hitting during our stay but we couldn’t even tell how bad things were outside.
Comfy beds, powerful showers, a heavenly jacuzzi bathtub, super cozy cinema room (football viewing room for most of our guests) and the perfect games room with the hot tub in the garage! Most people would complain about the hot tub being inside but thanks to the usual rubbish English weather, I’d say it was a genius idea!
there was only one minor issue that we were able to resolve ourselves, the cleaners had simply forgot about the barbecue (probably due to thinking it wouldn’t be used but a storm can’t stop us from a good old barbecue!) I contacted the team to let them know and they were more than apologetic, even offered to send the cleaners back out to sort it but we’d already cleaned it ourselves.

Millbrook lodge is lovely house in a superb setting. The house itself has everything you could possibly need and more. It is clean, spacious and in a lovely location

I liked the cinema room. We liked the outside seating area with the lights. We sat out there most nights.
It was mainly nice but it was quite dirty in parts. The cutlery was filthy . One of the bedrooms was very dirty. The last day we was there we was looking for our grandsons toy and found it at the back of the settee., which had a few crisp packets and ring pulls and plaster pushed behind the sofa. Looked like somebody has used the back of the sofa as a rubbish bin. Obviously the cleaners aren’t pulling things out to clean. Also one of the shower heads was broken in the double shower. I also do not think the hot tub in the garage is a good idea as my husband had to clean the grit out that’s coming off the garage floor. All in all we have stopped in far better cottages than this. We don’t mind paying the money as long as you get what you pay for.
