A perfect resort to unwind and rejuvenate. The level of services is top-notch. The room is big, a spacious bathroom with a huge bathtub, and I like the fact that the shower and toilet are separate. The use of native timber and traditional decor is very impressive.
They offer a beautiful spread of an international cuisine buffet. It's a great resort for family holidays, there's plenty of activities for children. The wellness spa is another level. We will be back!

Checkin process. Here's what went down during our stay:
1. During check-in:
- Brenda Khang was incredibly unprofessional. She told me to step aside to accommodate other guests, even though we'd already waited too long due to the lengthy queue.
2. No priority lane or counter for PWD. This hotel doesn't prioritize or respect elders and PWDs. My mother, a PWD recovering from cancer, and I expected Sheraton to follow international standards, but they don't.
3. Brenda Khang rushed me, even though I still had questions. She initially refused to provide a payment breakdown, claiming it would be on the receipt. Only after I insisted did she finally write down the details. Withholding such information goes against the law. I'm considering reporting Sheraton to BIR, LGU, SEC, and other relevant agencies.
2. Commendations:
- The staff at 5Cien and Nikkei are amazing.
- Shout out to Ramil for his excellent staff training.
- Sarah, the OJT, showed exceptional hospitality and professionalism.
- Kweenie is very professional and passionate about her job.
- Karen's smile is a ray of sunshine. Thank you for your kindness.
- Jakka, the room attendant, deserves more than a 5-star rating. Jakka exceeded our expectations and stood out from any other staff we encountered, not only at Sheraton but at other hotels, both local and international. His simple note was heartwarming. Great job, Jakka!
4. Facilities and Amenities:
Room - No exhaust, and the toilet's air quality is poor. I suggest replacing the bidet with a handheld type for easier use and please install exhaust fan.
Pool - Amazing!
Lobby - Amazing!
Beach - Amazing!
Activities - Thrilled with the variety of activities available.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. But Sheraton needs to improve on the issues I've highlighted in this review.

Good size room and very clean. Love the bathroom. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Great ambiance and food. Amazing views while having your breakfast.
The resort is a little too small compared to Shanghai-la but I’d come back and stay again in a heartbeat.

The salmon was salty.
The hotel I stayed in Manila prior to coming to your hotel, sliced the salmon in front of you.
No salty taste.
The pastry was very bland.

Aamianen on hyvä jos menee aamulla 6 sitten ne alkaa sotkeutumaan kun kiinalaiset ja heidän lapset tulee. Kuvissa ranta näyttää hienolta mutta todellisuus on sitten ihan toinen
Hotelli on täynnä kiinalaisia ja jopa vastaanotto varoitti että aamupalla on tuskaa kello 8 jälkeen kun kiinalaiset tulee. Ei ne muuten mutta nehän ei noudata mitään sääntöjä saako ruokaan koskea sormilla tai saako jonossa etuilla. Henkilökunta ei uskalla sanoa heille suoraan mitään mutta pahoittelevat heidän törkeän käytöksen puolesta. Ilman auto tai taksia ei pääse mihinkään. Aurinkotuolit on kiinalaisille varattu heti kello 6 ja koko päivänä he eivät käy rannalla mutta kaikki tuolit on varattu heidän paidoilla päivän ajan.

L'hôtel est magnifique avec 2 grande piscines et une plage certes petite mais très agréable.la literie est très confortable,la chambre est spacieuse.
Tous le personnel est super souriant et serviable,le petit déjeuner est très varié,et la nourriture aux restos également.
L'hôtel est relativement bien placé mais la circulation est difficile sur toute l'île comptez bien1h pour rejoindre cebu city,mais le centre de mactan est à10min en taxi

I really liked the location in that the hotel was right on the water and the view was beautiful. The hotel was beautifully designed and the food was great especially the breakfast buffet. But what really made the hotel special was the excellent staff who was always helpful and gracious and friendly from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, spa staff and security. In fact staff went over and above to ensure that all our needs were met.
The traffic getting to the hotel was difficult because it was Sinulog weekend. It took us 2 hours from the center of Cebu to the hotel - an unexpectedly long time. But I did like the isolated site on Mactan and would definitely consider returning in spite of the traffic.

Sheraton Mactan was our last stop before flying back home after a month long holiday in the Philippines. We stayed for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon.
Check in was a breeze, we were allowed to check-in and get into our room early. Greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and a cute little shell bracelet. Our room was set-up for honeymooners and we also received a lovely cake with Happy Honeymoon written on it.
Great facilities, beach, swimming pools and restaurants to choose from! Also not to forget the very relaxing massage treatment we had in Sheraton Spa!
We enjoyed the amazing breakfast and dinner buffet that we had in 5 Cien Restaurant. A lot of food choices and the great atmosphere of the place.
Buhi Cave Bar is also a must try! We had the Friday Grill Night and enjoyed it most especially the seafoods. Went inside the bar of course to experience the unique cave setting with some lovely night cap drinks.
And most importantly, the great gastronomic experience in Dip Nikkei Restaurant. Thank you Chef Daniel who even spoke to us whilst we dined and to Loeh who served us for being so lovely and an absolute 5 star service!
We’ve stayed in several luxury hotels during our honeymoon but what really sets Sheraton Mactan apart is the staff. All the staff in the hotel have been really a delight! Very friendly, attentive and welcoming. Even the hotel manager(s) are interacting with the guests ensuring the stay has been pleasant.

Kind personal. You feel like a royal everyone greeting you (to me, was bit too much, but that's personal preference).
The rooms are spacious with bathtub, nice view, big shower etc. Perfectly comfortable.
Small and steep beach. Only for relaxing, not made for a walk. Missed some place for evening get together, like an area to dance and talk. But perfect when you only want to have romantic couples evening. Pricy food. They try to sell everything extra. Tried to get a single apple once. Was some hassle.
As far as I get it, it's also not allowed to bring food from outside (like grab or groceries you buy).
You need to find out everything on your own, e.g. there is fish food for free to lure fish and watch them.

Well it was a mixed bag. I liked only one dish that was served. I liked the checkin welcome. Bed was great shower was great tub was great. Thry gave a little extra gift for my anniversary.
Bar music woke me up. Drink tasted like toothpaste and was still charged. Table was dirty so when I leaned against it got my shirt dirty.

Everything! I have never been in love in a place before! Mostly the staff is amazing and so respectful. This will be my new favourite resort! Will definitely be coming back!

The rooms and spacious and the bed was very comfy. We got two rooms with a King size bed and another qith twin size beds.
The bathroom with a soaking tub is the best part of the stay.
The staff were very courteous and very attentive. They also take great pics of you and your family.
The layered pool concept was good in theory. However, it resulted in smaller pools, and some were not yet functional so it can be a bit cramped especially when the resort was full of guests.
The beach is nice during the high tide (noontime) but is a bit rocky. You have to wear aquasocks to avoid hurting yourself.

Breakfast was excellent. Customer service was superb. All the staff was there to help and please the customers without feeling overbearing.
Just some parts are still inaccessible. Beach area could be better, hard to walk as its super "pebbly".... Far from city.

State-of-the-art facilities were impressive. The outdoor pool was also very clean and nice. I was happy to be able to spend a really happy vacation.
It was scary to go out right in front of the accommodation. This was not the hotel's problem, so I couldn't help it, but it didn't feel safe.

The AC made a noise which bothered us when we went to sleep so has to turn off even though it was hot.
