We stayed in a deluxe room. The space was tiny but we were able to make it work. This was our second long stay here (14 days this time), so we knew what to expect. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great, a real value in July! The location is good, really close to lots of restaurants and shopping, the Inokashira park, Kichijoji station. The nightly happy hour was a nice touch.
We only ate breakfast here a couple of times this trip. The breakfast is very much geared to Asian guests, which are probably by far the majority of guests. The butter buns are fantastic. There was alway fresh fruit and fresh yogurt. The price is good, considering it comes with coffee and juice. But for a long stay, there wasn't enough variety of western foods for us. I would have been willing to try the huge variety of asian foods, but I would need some help to understand how to do it. Generally, only the front desk staff spoke english. I do wish there was an option for a larger room, with a closet or wardrobe and a dresser.

The location was marvelous. I love Kichijoji. The staff were quite friendly. Everything was clean. The room was a quite decent size for Tokyo.
This was one of the most boring breakfast buffets I've ever had in Japan. They didn't even have a proper cappuccino machine! There were no windows facing to the outside, just ones facing the kitsch atrium. One night there was tacky Liberace-ish piano playing audible from the restaurant.
