Kaek and his family are incredibly welcoming and kind! I stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable and at home. Kaek also offers a tour of his gallery, which is a really nice personal touch. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back!

The hosts were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. It was a privilege to stay in their beautiful home and I loved the art and the quirks of Made’s artful mind.
I liked everything…but a little wish would have been a bedside lamp.

It’s a very original, authentic Balinese house, which gives the experience a unique local feel.
There is a lot of beautiful art everywhere, which makes the place visually special.
It was very close to the Bali Meditation Center, so the location was convenient for my purpose of staying there.
The room was not cleaned at all during my stay.
There was no fridge, no TV, and no drinking water provided.
The surroundings felt very empty — not much to do or access nearby.
The food I ordered always had to be delivered from Ubud.
It was loud, especially at night, so bringing earplugs is absolutely necessary.
