Ich habe mich unwahrscheinlich wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, groß, mit einem sehr schönen gepflegten Garten, alles ganz neu. Die Gastgeber (Chandi und Rohan, beide sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend) wohnen im Haus nebenan und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Rohan spricht sehr gut deutsch und kann einem über die Insel und ihre Schätze alles erzählen und wertvolle Tips geben.
Man hat eine eigene Küche und jedes der drei Zimmer ein eigenes Bad. Sogar eine Waschmaschine steht zur Benutzung zur Verfügung und auf Nachfrage bekommt man von Chandi morgens ein extrem leckeres sri lankisches Frühstück zubereitet. Ein Kaffeevollautomat gewährleistet richtig guten Kaffee, was man nicht überall auf der Insel bekommt! Man ist schnell am sauberen Strand und Ambalangoda bietet unzählige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit echtem Sri Lanka Gefühl. Ich komme garantiert wieder - besser geht es nicht!
Es gab nichts, aber auch gar nichts, was man auch nur ansatzweise beanstanden könnte!

Had a wonderful stay with Dilip and Chandi at their villa. The place has a very peaceful atmosphere and is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Sri lankan streets and hotels.
1m walk to beach great for snorkelling
They operate like a bed and breakfast with breakfast lunch and dinner on request for a very fair price.
Also had two lovely dogs Shane and Fred!
Had us feeling the local lifestyle!
No pool but with the beach so close it isn't missed!
