Really beautiful hotel, in the middle of the forest and next to the rice fields. There are two pools, two restaurants, a gym and the breakfast is really good. The staff is lovely, highly recommended it

The villas were comfortable
Too many tacky details in decoration, which have nothing to do with Bali. Made me feel that the designer of this place didn’t have any good taste. Breakfast and breakfast setting was very average like an airport lounge.

Overall nice, but not Ubud nice. For the same price or less I have been in way better resorts. The pool is meaningless, so it’s the reception. Let’s say it’s a solid 4 star resort, but not comparable with its peers in Ubud. Maybe I had too high expectations because their good marketing team were able to put the name next to the top tier ones.
The villas are very nice.
The best thing of the hotel has to be the pastry chef. Those croissant and pain au chocolate reminded me of Paris
Beside the overall design that is far from what you expect in a 5 star in Bali, there is no flare. No music, no beauty. Just a hotel. Lunch at the pool restaurant was to be forgotten. A small menu that tries to satisfy Asians and westerns, but at the end leave both with a unhappy face.
Breakfast is good.
