From the moment we arrived it was magical. Karima and Yazid were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They gave us local tips and guidance, and made our stay in Marrakesh wonderful. The Riad is beautiful, from the rooms, to the rooftop, to the hospitality. You must have a beauty treatment with the QUEEN Latifah, and sample the Tagine and Moroccan tea. The location is perfect, close to the Souks and the YSL Museum. We did not want to leave, and the Riad El Hara will always hold a special place in our hearts. Special thanks to Hamza and Mohammed too!!

Beautiful!
Beautifully cared for and decorated.
Colourful and warm with wide rooms and the plunge pool on the terrace makes it feel more like an hotel than a simple Riad
Also the food was amazing

Everything was amazing.
If I could just give one suggestion, considering they were happy to accommodate our request for glasses and ice buckets when we bought our own drinks, if they had just a couple of alcoholic options on the premises it would really make the experience even better for international tourists

Riad El Harra impressed us with its exceptional hospitality, thoughtful service and genuine Moroccan warmth. Yazid welcomed us with traditional Moroccan tea and delicious homemade cookies, immediately making us feel at home. His detailed guidance on navigating the Medina safely, bargaining and understanding local customs gave us confidence to explore Marrakech. His recommendations for rooftop restaurants and coffee shops also helped us discover some wonderful places during our stay.
What stood out most was the personal care shown by Yazid and the lovely Karima, who went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Their kindness, attentiveness and local knowledge made our experience feel truly special.
The breakfast was outstanding, offering a delicious variety of authentic Moroccan dishes. We especially enjoyed the organic Moroccan honey and olive oil, and it was clear that the professional cooks and hardworking staff put great care into every meal.
Our room was kept spotlessly clean, with thoughtful daily touches such as a fresh fruit plate featuring a lovely selection of Moroccan fruits. The Riad also arranged an excellent airport pickup and drop-off service, making our arrival and departure smooth and stress-free.
The location is another major advantage. Riad El Harra is just a one-minute walk from the vehicle drop-off area, which is especially convenient when travelling with luggage. Located just outside the city walls, it offers a quiet, peaceful and safe base for exploring the Medina. At the same time, Gueliz, with its modern shopping areas and mall, is only about a 10–12-minute walk away, giving guests the best of both worlds.
A special thank you to Karima, Yazid, Ali, the hardworking staff and the professional kitchen team. Their warmth, guidance and attention to detail made our stay genuinely memorable.

The decoration of this Riad is wonderfully Moroccan and very much what we had imagined a traditional Riad would be like. Since this was our first stay in Morocco, we took quite a few photos here. Our room, Sheherazad, named after the storyteller and heroine of One Thousand and One Nights, was on the first floor. It was spacious enough for our family of three and very comfortable, with beautiful traditional decoration. The Riad also provided fresh fruit and snacks in our room every day.
The central courtyard is a wonderful communal area. The glass roof can be opened, and the courtyard is beautifully decorated with drapes and plants. We often saw other guests relaxing there. On the outdoor rooftop terrace, there is also a swimming pool, which was very welcome in the heat of Marrakech.
Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace. The quality of the breakfast was excellent and there was a variety of food. The staff were also very attentive and provided excellent service during breakfast.
There is a very good car parking lot near the Riad, with attendants looking after the cars, which is particularly convenient for travelers arriving by car. The Riad is also within easy walking distance of the Medina, so we could simply walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and back, which made it very convenient for exploring the old city.
Most of the male reception staff we met spoke very good English, while some of the others spoke French. Everyone was extremely friendly, polite and helpful. I am particularly grateful for their help when we had a problem with our rental car. They found a nearby repair shop and helped us communicate with the mechanics. The car was repaired at a very reasonable price, allowing us to continue our journey safely.
I would especially like to thank the members of the Riad staff who helped us with the car. Their assistance went far beyond what we would normally expect from hotel staff, and we are truly grateful.
