Brilliant location, close to the Duomo but far enough away to feel private. The apartment was spacious with high ceilings that made it feel bigger than the listed square footage. Silvia was a fantastic host, warm and welcoming and informative. Will definitely stay here again and 100% recommended to other travelers.
Typical of old buildings in Italy, there were no screens on the windows so we had some mosquitos inside.

I’m so happy we chose to stay at this apartment. So nice to be greeted in person by the actual host who showed us all around the facilities so we would know how things work. The apartment is clean and comfortable and quiet with good AC and wifi and lots of quality affordable restaurants nearby. We were able to walk to everything and even the train station.

Our host met us and showed us how everything worked. the apartment was very smart and comfortable. She pointed out the nearest supermarket. Loved the location- the Duomo was at the end of the street. Excellent transport from the Railway Station and to get around using buses or lightrail. Visiting the locals market on Saturday and buying our supplies then having a drink and chatting to strangers. Having all the art and history Florence has to offer at our doorstep.
Nothing. There are stairs so don't bring a heavy suitcase. They were a great fitness workout.
