Quaint cottage in small rurual village 6 min drive from Seyssel. Set in a beautiful, peaceful countryside setting. The gite was charming cosy and well equipped. The owner left us a bottle of wine and little jars of sweets, a nice touch.

We should have read the reviews properly. Although the cottage has two very small terraces front and back, these lead directly onto roads. A picture shows a terrace with a grassed area, which we assumed was a small garden, there is not. It's now a newly built house, and to be fair, a garden wasn't stated in the description. With a small puppy who needs to pee every hour, it wasn't ideal. However, I am now mucher fitter with zillions of walks under my belt. We explored lots of the surrounding countryside which is beautiful 😍
