Notre séjour dans ce gîte a été une véritable parenthèse enchantée, loin de l’agitation du quotidien. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été séduits par le cadre idyllique au cœur d’une campagne préservée, entourée de champs et de forêts. L’accueil chaleureux de Jules et Alexia, leur empathie et leur disponibilité ont rendu notre séjour encore plus appréciable : toujours souriants, ils ont su nous mettre à l’aise dès les premiers instants.
Leurs conseils avisés sur les balades, les bons plans locaux, leurs petites attentions, leur sympathie naturelle et leur générosité sont des atouts majeurs de ce gîte aménagé avec un soin remarquable.
Ici, pas de bruit de circulation, pas de voisins bruyants : seulement le hennissement des chevaux, le beuglement des bovins dans les prés voisins, le chant des oiseaux et le vent dans les arbres. C’est un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer, lire, méditer ou simplement profiter du calme, sans renoncer au confort moderne et à la chaleur humaine. Cette adresse est à garder précieusement. On la recommande sans hésiter, aussi bien pour le lieu que pour la rencontre avec Jules et Alexia !

Spacious, clean, well-equipped accommodation in a very quiet rural location.
We booked the place on the day of arrival as a stopover on the strength of the positive reviews. We arrived in the early evening of a cold rainy day and the owner seemed surprised and not too pleased at our appearance. We got the distinct impression that he did not like guests to stay for just one night as his only interaction with us consisted of repeated commands (no shoes indoors! no crumbs on the floor! strip the bed before leaving!). The heating in the living-room was turned off and we spent an evening at 15 degrees moving in socks on a cold tiled floor as no slippers were provided. When we finally asked if we could have some wood for the stove he offered it for an additional payment.
This is the first time ever I leave a negative review but we have only bad memories of our stay. Perhaps Jules had had a particularly bad day and the next day would have been totally different. We have no desire to find out.
