The location was quiet and cozy and the place has a really interesting history! Our room was spacious and charming with a huge bathtub to soak I after a day of wandering the beautiful city of Bruges. The breakfast spread was delicious and more than enough to get us going in the mornings. The coffee and fresh fruit were especially good! Any questions we had regarding trains, taxis, the city, etc. were answered and then some. I can't wait to come back and stay here again. Loved it! Bruges is a hidden sweet gem and possibly my favorite place in Europe.
the steps up to the room are typical for buildings (restaurants, shopping, coffee shops) in the area - steep and narrow! But that's just how it is, and it wasn't a problem just a reality to accept and go with.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Bariseele B&B. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a view of a beautiful church across the street. The location was in a quiet residential area, perfect for walking the beautiful old town of Bruges. We even had a private, locked garage for our motorcycles. The very pleasant and helpful proprietor, Benny, was on hand to greet us and provide recommendations; massage and hairdresser appointments, as well as suggested activities. A plentiful breakfast was left outside our door at 8 am each morning! The canal boat tour was a definite winner, as it showcased this spectacular town, while providing an enjoyable 30 minute cruise. We loved Bruges and the Bartseele was a fantastic choice for those who enjoy a quiet space to relax. Also, a convenient market is located just around the corner!
The stairs to our beautiful room on the upper floor could be an issue for those with mobility issues.

We had a great 2 night stay in Brugge. Very spacious and clean room along with a delicious breakfast. A quiet, peaceful area of the city and just a 10 minute walk along the canal to the main square! Our host Benny made our stay even better and was always on hand to help with advice, lovely guy! We'll definitely be back and we highly recommend B&B Bariseele!
