It is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the city center. It has a beautiful garden, very cozy to have breakfast there or just to simply sit outside. The staff was also very kind and the whole place was really clean. For those who love horses, it is an extra experience that you could see them from the back of the garden. We went at a time when it was a bit cold to use the pool, but it must be a very good experience as well.
We had one of our rooms on the lower floor and although it was very cozy, it was a bit dark if the terrace door wasn't open. And on the upper floor we had an other room without a balcony, which was even darker. However, I think this was simply part of the overall style and aesthetic of the place. Also, in the rooms that face the street, the car traffic can be a bit loud because of the cobblestone road.

The staff were lovely, attentive and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious. The entire facility was quite charming in decor and layout. The property bordered an equestrian business, and grazing pastures for sheep. Our suite was quite spacious and quiet.
Have tissues in the room. The room had no TV, but that was ok with us. We enjoyed the quiet.

Everything was perfect. The location is beautiful but the walk to it is down a very steep hill so if you find walking difficult it is good to be aware

Great location and lovely garden.
Despite it being 20c the pool was closed and this is not made clear when booking. We also had to insist on taking breakfast outside as the staff were not keen for us to do so. Also on breakfast the staff did not want to do eggs on the second day for some reason despite me asking and had to argue with them somewhat to get a fairly basic request sorted.
