Does what promises: a simple cheap room for your stay in Athens. A bit older facilities but clean rooms and comfortable beds.

The hotel is very well placed, between 2 Metro stations and walking distance from principal objectives. Is clean, the room has everything you need - more than basic ( including a fridge and hairdryer), comfortable beds.

The hotel's biggest advantage is definitely its location. It is within walking distance of Plaka and many restaurants, bars, and attractions, making it a great base for exploring Athens. The hotel itself is quite basic, but our room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was very appreciated during the warm weather. The bathroom was clean, the shower was easy to use, and I also liked the colorful hangers in the wardrobe, a small detail, but something I rarely see in other hotels :D
The staff were generally kind and helpful. On our arrival day, we were extremely tired after almost two days without proper sleep, and my suitcase had broken during our journey, so my partner was carrying several bags. Because of this, he rushed toward the room without paying much attention to the receptionist's welcome and information. I could understand why the receptionist was not pleased, although I also understood my partner's exhaustion. Looking back, it was simply an unfortunate misunderstanding after a long trip.
We especially appreciated the staff's flexibility when I accidentally booked only three nights instead of our full stay. When we realized the mistake and contacted the hotel shortly before arriving back in Athens, they informed us that our reservation had ended. Fortunately, they still had one room available and allowed us to stay, even though we had to change rooms. We were very grateful for their help :D
Overall, Economy Hotel is a simple and clean hotel with an excellent location and caring staff. While the Wi-Fi and breakfast could be improved, we appreciated the cleanliness, comfort, and helpful service, and we enjoyed our stay in Athens :)

I really liked the room and the location. The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was very disappointing. There was no variety and it was the same every day, mostly junk food and soft tomatoes. The thing that bothered me the most was that the chocolate croissants were mixed together with ham ones. At first glance they looked like sweet pastries and I tryed them, but they actually contained meat. This is unacceptable for a vegetarian.
The breakfast layout was also confusing: first there were small breads and boiled eggs, followed by jams, juice, and coffee. Only at another table, after already taking bread and eggs, you could see there was also toast and fried eggs. By then it was too late to change your plate. There was no water offered.
Another negative point was the internet access. We stayed for four nights but only received access for three days, which meant we had no internet on the last day.
