This is actually a 4+ star hotel in any country and definitely superior to others described as such that we have stayed in on this family trip to Romania. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent. Service throughout the hotel was earnest and efficient.
In high 90s to 100 degree temperatures the a/c was apparently inadequate to cool the rooms to the desired temperature. And the dining room for breakfast did not even have a/c turned on until we requested it as it was sweltering. Perhaps this is a cultural idiosyncrasy. When I mentioned the room temperature issue at check-out the staff was very apologetic and said they wished we had notified them during our stay. The staff is clearly intending to provide excellent service.
