East side of the island was easier access to both north and south parts. Walking distance to majority
Host lives on property in the back house so always accessible and attentive to needs.
Quiet, more than comfortable and sufficient for needs.
Hurricaine Lowel proof!
Julie and Jim looked out for our needs during the hurricane, providing flashlights, candles water, and even cooked us food and kept the water going on their solar power! They were like family during a intense time:)
We were there in unique circumstances during hurricane Lowell so we lost power along with 90% of the island! But host has solar so we always had running water!

L’établissement est très bien, le lit est très confortable. Vous avez un frigo et de quoi faire votre café le matin. Les autres sont très gentils. Si vous restez une semaine sur l’île et que vous ne voulez pas prendre plusieurs logements ce logement est à la moitié de chaque côté de l’île, environ une heure.
C’est dommage que les draps et les serviettes soient tachées par de la javel ou des choses qui ne partent pas à la machine. Peut-être que mettre une machine à café type Nespresso serait plus pratique que du café moulu.

The kitchen is just a microwave and a refrigerator, doesn’t even have a sink, we had to use the bathroom sink for everything. The couch in the living room, which I had to sleep on, was very uncomfortable and has a pillow stuffed in where the springs are broken. The air conditioner is in the bedroom and doesn’t do much for the living room for the first few hours at least not the warm and friendly place that we were hoping for.
The rugs have no backing so they’re slippery and a falling hazard. The shower is very difficult because it’s a curtain on two of the sides, another falling hazard. One room is pretty much useless and the kitchen is not really a kitchen. Overall, we were very disappointed! We stayed at other cottages during our stay in Hawaii and they were all warmer and more pleasant than this one.
