Wonderful

Everything! We especially loved the convenient location near the metro station. The Duomo was just a 10-minute walk away, which made exploring the city so easy. The city itself is charming, and we absolutely loved the view. The accommodation was beautiful, very clean, well organized, and thoughtfully maintained. We had a wonderful stay!

I cannot recommend, poor support of host

We could not enter the appartment, see explanation below

Our stay at Medici Apartments involved multiple serious problems. The check-in instructions explicitly directed us to apartment 307. On arrival, however, the entrance to 307 was taped off and inaccessible. We eventually discovered that the provided key worked on door 305. The management later acknowledged in writing that they had failed to inform us that access had been changed due to maintenance work. More importantly, one of our children became trapped in the bathroom after simply closing the door without locking it. The door mechanism stopped operating, and the door could no longer be opened normally. As our child became increasingly distressed, I intervened to get our child out. The management subsequently disputed our account of the incident. Afterwards, we checked the apartment more thoroughly and discovered that the main entrance door also could not be properly locked because the locking mechanism did not work correctly. A maintenance person was subsequently sent to work on the door, but the locking mechanism was still not fully functional afterwards. There were further issues. The Wi-Fi details sent to us by management were incorrect; we later found different network details on a piece of paper in the kitchen. We also discovered that one side of the double bed had a broken slatted bed base. On a more minor note, there was scaffolding outside the building, so opening the windows in the morning meant construction workers were directly outside the apartment. The kitchen and refrigerator were also dated and worn, giving the apartment a generally tired feel. On the positive side, the air conditioning worked well, parking was conveniently located next to the building, and Florence itself is a wonderful city to visit. We documented the issues with photographs and written correspondence and reported the matter to Booking.com during our stay. The apartment itself could have been perfectly adequate, but the combination of incorrect check-in instructions, undis

Clean and great location

It’s extremely convenient to get to and get around the city.

Good value for the money

The apartment it’s literally in front of the station, really easy to find and to walk to any point of the city. There’s an elevator in the building. The room was spacious for 5 people, and our stay was comfortable for the 2 nights there. They provide coffee and also earplugs to use at night.

The con of the location is the noise: the train and streets noises are really loud. The surroundings of the location are a little weird at night, you need to be careful.

Staff was very kind, and helpful.

The beds had poor structure underneath. If you are a big person, be careful, because bed can break.
