First time staying here but everything was fine and as expected. Enjoyed the freebies, and the views from the roof. The massage chair was also a nice touch. Easy access to stations and for doing local tourist stuff.
Was a little unclear if I could use the public baths, lots of notices saying explicitly no tattoos, but booked this place online as said it was accepting to foreigners with tattoos.

Good value for money. The place was clean, great location, delicious breakfast, happy with the extra amenities such as the Onsen, the evening ice cream and morning yogurt drink.

The view, the spa, the complimentary coffee, ramen, sweets, massage chair and laundry. Really great value for money.
The staff. This is a pattern in Tokyo. I’ve traveled extensively in Japan in the last 7 years and I’ve seen how the locals of Tokyo especially those interacting with tourists like train station staff and hotel crew have become antagonistic to tourists altogether. The woman who assisted me with my check in sort of shouted at me when I started using the check in machine. But that’s how it is with other hotels. You can just go ahead and use the check in machine. Which leads me to my other point. Tokyo is full of inconsistencies when it comes to rules and procedures. Anyway, even if a guest makes a mistake, the hotel staff should maintain a certain level of professionalism as doing otherwise really leaves a bad taste to the guests’ mouth.
