Just wow! Everything was clean and new. We really appreciated the complimentary ice cream and ramen in the evening. The hotel had a truly authentic Japanese atmosphere, which made the stay feel like a real immersion in Japanese culture — we especially loved that. I also really enjoyed being able to walk barefoot around the hotel. The onsen was very pleasant and definitely the best one we visited during our trip. And Asakusa, where the hotel is located, is absolutely superb. It’s a very pleasant and peaceful neighborhood.
Even if the room is ready, you will not be given the keys before the official check-in time. The lack of flexibility was quite frustrating. The staff did not speak English. For European guests, the hotel breakfast may also feel a little too unfamiliar to have every day. We tried it once and were actually glad we had not booked it for the whole stay.

We were a party of 5 - with bedding for 4 - our youngest grandson put the chain mattresses together and slept on the floor - the room was perfect for 4 but not for 5 - the facility is amazing the staff super. We would have booked 2 rooms if we were new the comfort level for a party of 5 prior - we have a mix of 2 bedroom and family rooms on our 11 day stay in Japan. The facilities were beautify and a great place to relax. Definitely recommend
room size for a party of 5 - nothing else everything else exceeded our expectations.

The cozy home feel and also the nearby attraction make it so convenient.
The washing machine and dryer was abit too dusty after every wash. Dust stained on clothes quite a lot

The hotel and onsen are clean and maintained well. We originally worried about the cleanliness of the floor coz we had to take off our shoes on the ground floor, at the end, we were highly satisfied on the cleanliness.
Awesome breakfast.
Not enough washing machines and dryers.
