Rubbish WiFi, Patchy downstairs non existent upstairs. Hotel needs refurbishment to bring it back from the seventies and into this century

The hotel really exceeded our expectations: the room was renovated and clean with a coffee/tea maker and a mini-fridge, which is a must for me, the view was exceptional, and the A/C enjoyable in the heat of the Summer. The location was perfect and quiet for me with only the sound of the waves in the night; the pool was very clean and welcoming, there was a small lovely beach nearby (HaOnot), the restaurant and brunch buffet were outstanding, and to finish the staff was very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, real vacations. We will definitely recommend this hotel, for an excellent quality/price balance. We had a free parking spot (so parking is not an issue in the season peak)
Note that old reviews from over 2 years should be removed as the hotel was renovated and critics will not apply anymore.
Little frustrations:
1- We received 3 confirmations that our request for having a room with two beds was guaranteed. When we arrived, we were told the same. But when entering the room, it was only one double bed. So we had to wait for them to fix the issue, while it should have been ready before
2- The price of the room includes breakfast buffet. As my son sometimes was not able to go before the closing at 10 am, I was bringing him food in the bedroom. I received a tance by the restaurant manager not to do that. But my understanding was that we already paid for that food for both of us, no ?
3- The facilities include a Swedish sauna, a jacuzzi, a mini pool for kids. But none of that was open/functional. That is sad as the facilities are there ! I was already picturing myself in the jacuzzi.... They should reconsider.
