Location
Cleaning staff did not clean the bathrooms properly or replace used coffee mugs.

The location.
The pool area isn’t really the best for families with young kids due to the restaurant having access to the back deck. Anyone has access to the pool even if they aren’t staying there.

The room was well proportioned & freshly renovated. We loved the rainforest shower head.
The staff at check in were lovely, however precedence for room access was given to others who arrived many hours after we did but hung around reception (whereas we believed we would receive a text & left as instructed)
The hotel is also more a "pub" with rooms attached, so there is a lot of noise our room provided good access to the pool. It also had a storage area directly behind it which staff accessed very early in the morning. People running on the balcony above our room at 2am were also noisy.
We travel a lot (having retired early) the price range of this hotel is above the amenities provided. It lacks a Unique Selling Proposition in a town where many better priced options boast a view & budget priced accommodation abounds - a review of the marketing strategy & pricing may be an idea
