Two nights without sleep due to non functioning of air conditioning. Beside the hotel is nice

Nice modern hotel

Air conditioning is not working and they are not honestly presenting this aspect on booking. They advertise the rooms as “sustainable”. When you arive at the hotel you find out what this “sustainability” is about. I wouldn t have cared about this, but there were some verry hot days woth high humidity and you could not sleep without AC.

Great stay

room is spacious and clean. breakfast is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a swimming pool on the roof, not big but warm with a great view to the beach.

Staff in the breakfast restaurant seem to be not as friendly as to the other guests when you have Asian face? I won't comment them as racists that would be too much but I do hope they know what they are doing.

Worst stay as NO AIRCONDITNIONIG and being sold at a surcharge whilst stating it was at a discount!

Location close to Split Airport

Upon arrival we discovered that we had NO AIRCONDITIONING, due to a techical fault on our specific floor of the hotel, described by the reception staff. She justified it by stating we had been given what they called a 'Sustainable Room' at a highly discounted value. Upon checking we indeed realized that the small print of the Sustainable Room did not have the air-conditioning symbol, whuch was definitley not what we wanted to book in the hottest month of the season in August coming from an all day drive for 8 hours from Montenegro with our 2 children at 30 degrees heat. We had no choice in the middle of the high season and arriving at 6:30 PM but to take the room as is, especially also as there was absolutley NOBODY TO SPEAK TO. We asked for the manager and he was simply not available and would maybe come the next day. They told us that we could cancel and look for other options, but after 2 super tired children having driven all day and it being high season in Split we definitley di not feel like soending all night trying to find another hotel room, whuch would have been a nightmare. They brought a fan into our room and as such we 'suffered' in incredible heat for the following 2 days/nights in the Hitel. NOBODY EVER SPOKE TO US about this...the Hotel Manager never arrived, nobody bithered to speak to us and as such for them it was done. They took our money sold us a sustainable room leaving out a highlought that this was at a surcharge and did not have airconditioning due to a technical fault and that was it.

So close to beach, excellent views, big comfortable bed, friendly staff and comfortable beds near rooftop pool

Hotel had AC problems - they upgraded us to a room with functioning air conditioning though it was vented and not individual to rooms - we slept with the fan on. Sunbeds at beach are €15 each for the day for hotel guests. Would be nice if terrace doors locked from outside for easier access to beach

Hotel good, Podstrana it self is not so cosy place, Hotel split really lifts the place.

The view and top floor

The staff were not well trained. There were a maximum of 2-3 that were good. Among other them, the girl at breakfast. She was Proactive, genuinely happy, helpful and profesional a goos teamleader. If everyone could be like her, I would be satisfied. I didn't get much information upon arrival either. Had no idea that you have to pay for the sunbeds that belong to the hotel. So we had a strange situationen the first day. When I went to receptionen to ask what is the situation with the sunbeds, I heard the guests infront of me did not had to pay for the sunbeds..

A nice experience but they are missing opportunities to make it value for money

The staff were lovely and clearly working very hard. There were very few of them so super impressed with what they were managing

Hidden costs were not okay. Beach you are required to pay for sun beds, when you are coughing up the hotel costs this seems unnecessary. In addition as we checked out we were informed that we had been charged to use the hotel towels for the pool and beach. Not much but they didn’t inform us of this when we were collecting them daily….

Superb

Amazing views from the balcony and from the Rooftop Restaurant. It was my and my teenager's son holidays, which ecxeeded our expedition. Tasty and plenty of food breakfast. Special thanks and my best regards to amazing Stela, she is very professional and kind person, who works in L'Aroma Restaurant in the evenings🤍

It's not hotel's falt that going a few kilometres to Split takes an hour, because of hardly traffic jams on that road, who is near the hotel. The hotel itself worth 10 points!

Highly recommend this place to friends and family ❣️

We liked the hotel a lot,good and peaceful location next to the beach and Sea view ! Staff was very nice and friendly,Ana was great ,a real pro in her work.

The gym was very poor and especially on rainy days would have been great to do so some exercise.

A lovely hotel away from the bustle of Split

The staff were very helpful. In particular the lady on reception in the evening (Ivana I think) and the lady in the breakfast room (Maja). Nice view and lovely cool room. Charging for electric cars was also a plus. Beach area was a lot quiter than the ones near Split.

The swimming pool was colder than the sea. Could have been more sun umbrellas on the pool deck, shade was difficult to find.

Superb

We received a clean,beautiful, big room with an astonishing view that we’ll never forget. The hotel is right next to a beautiful beach that we have easy access to and around the beach there are a lot of nice restaurants, stands and even a stand-up-paddles to rent. The hotel also has a magnificent view from the rooftop where you can have your dinner and we were served by this lovely head waitress that I unfortunately don’t remember the name of. Talking about the staff, they were all so lovely especially the lady named Maja who served us for breakfast and the receptionist named Klara who was really welcoming and helpful.

Our room didn’t have a working AC so we had to sleep with the fan and because of it some of the nights were really difficult to sleep as my partner got sore throat from it and we had to open our window for fresh air or else it gets stuffy but unfortunately we received a lot of mosquito bites. It also didn’t have a safe.

Lovely stay with a beautiful ocean view

Hotel has an amazing view and food was lovely. Close to the city and next to a beautiful beach :) definitely staying here again!

nice hotel with very friendly staff close to Split, 20 mins by bus depending on traffic

View was stunning but too hot to sit on balcony in full afternoon sun Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very friendly

Wasn't aware of the 30 euros per day for the sun beds on the beach (2 beds and umbrella) roof top pool tiles were dirty in the corners

FABULOUS !!!!

All excellent but it is the staff that make this hotel so wonderful. They are extra special and will do absolutely anything to meet your needs. Our tour with Darko was wonderful. I cannot express how exceptional the waiters/waitresses in all areas of food are. The very best and the hotel is lucky to have them.

The terrace. The terrace is drab and the swimming pool is awful. It needs some colour and better sun loungers. It is extremely unattractive.

Hotel Split is perfect - highly recommend

We loved Hotel Split - it was a 10 minute Uber outside of town but that suited us. Rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean, the food was amazing both for breakfast and the hotel restaurants.

The room we were given initially had a door that didn’t lock. Reception said the hotel was fully booked so we had to have that room or one with no air con. We were opting to leave when Reception found us another room - it was a bit off putting but glad they did as we loved our stay.

Everything was perfect😊

We loved that hotel. Everything was great. The amazing and calming view from the room. The unforgettable location of the main restaurant and delicious food. Wide choice of products served during breakfast and of course, truly friendly and helpful staff. 😊And there is much more…. We’d love to come back next year…😊.

Great location! We have enjoyed see side view a lot! Very kind hotel personnel.

There are not many options for the breakfast. Its is "a la carte" however this is the weakest characteristic of the hotel.

Very good

The hotel was excellent in every aspect - breakfast, cleanliness and staff. The beach was perfect and the hotel was modern and well decorated. We unfortunately had to return home five days early but the staff were excellent and we were only charged forthe nights we stayed even though the hotel was fully entitled to charge us the full amount - a big thank you for your understanding.

Not the hotels fault, but as we travelled in Mid September, we found that most of the local restaurants had closed for the season so be prepared for a long walk or taxi ride if you want to eat outside the hotel in the evenings.
