I have chosen the pousada because it is far away from the main drag; it did not disappoint; the owner is friendly, warm and welcoming; I felt like home. It is right in the beach and they provide beach chairs; the bangalôs are cleaned and spacious. There is a swimming pool but I did not use it; the breakfast was very good and the staff fantastic & friendly. They all have made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. Grazie.

The pousada needs some attention; it is a bit rough on the edges but they are starting renovations from May 2023; I think it will be great when renovations finish.

It is a calm/quite and great place to relax!

I had a bad experience in my room where the bad was not clean. , but it has been cleaned as soon as i have asked. Also, some building conditions should be better. Personally do not like the breakfast approach with size limitation.. when I have asked more, the lady was checking with the manager if should be allowed. However, the meal was good.

beautiful cabins set in lovely garden with large pool; right on the beach; amazing breakfast with fresh fruit and fruit juices and homemade cakes and bread, as well as a selection of traditional Brazilian foods and toasties. The staff and owner were so kind and helpful.

Lovely place, incredible beach, very safe, clean and quiet, no wild dogs or anything .... It's truly a paradise there. Also great rooms, very comfortable beds, and a lovely garden and pool. I never felt any urge to leave, except for food and drinks ....

No offer of Drinks or smaller Snacks/Food of the Hotel like a smaller bar ir something. If you wanted to eat something or drinks, you'd have to go outside .... Also for drinks and such. The mini-bar isn't really a good thing...so outdated.

Great place. Best place in Garça-Torta beach. I would say best place in Maceió. Beach front: you just go out through the front gate and you are in the sand and in the ocean. The sea is very calm in low tide, so it is just like to bath in a natural salty water pool. The place is beautiful. Delicious pool, rustic decoration. Everything functional . Come eat the breakfast with a seasight, withe the best fruits, juices, tapiocas, pastéis, sandwiches, coffee and eggs. The owners and staff are very nice people. Simply wonderful place.

Breakfast was good but not better than elsewhere we stayed (bar is really high).

This place really needs some fumigation. Mosquitoes are everywhere - dozens inside, hundreds outside. Sitting at the outside desk after dusk is not manageable without repellents (none provided). A good night sleep without a few bites? - forget it. There is some repellent spray in the room which helps a lot (which we know since the first day it didn't work which made it impossible to sleep) but by no means resolves the problem. Enter the nicely-illuminated pool in the evening and you'll be eaten alive. Big ants running around in the bathroom, plenty on the walls, the floor, the bin. Better check the toilet seat before you sit on it (seriously). The area is tiny (a size of a bigger backyard), bungalows are placed 2 meters away from each other, the swimming pool, or the main footpath. So when you sit in the pool you can watch and be watched by everyone, and you have the staff, other guests and the landlord walking around all the time. The entry doors are made of glass, next to which is a lattice which can't be closed so the wind can blow (and mosquitoes fly) easily through it - that also makes you hear and be heard by anyone from outside. Moreover, during the night the glass doors can only be covered by a light curtain, which is easily blown away by the wind coming through that lattice. After all, the landlord comes to you middle of your lunch and literally when you're mouthful of food, with no pardon, and starts asking you to cover the curtains overnight because others can see you. Location: landlord says area is safe, at the same time keeps a night watch and 2 big watchdogs. Wouldn't go outside after dusk (there's hardly anywhere to go anyway, thank God there's Uber Eats). And then the last day, 5 mins to 12:00 PM (checkout time) when you're ready to take your backpacks outside, you get the cleaning lady standing on the porch with a mop waiting to remind you that it's the checkout time and you should better leave.
