We had a wonderful stay here. The villa is beautifully and peacefully located among olive groves and, despite a local road nearby, it is surprisingly quiet. The owners are absolutely lovely, welcoming and full of useful recommendations. You can really see how much care they have put into the property, its beautiful garden and every little detail.
Everything is exceptionally clean & well maintained. Our room was quite small but spotless and equipped with everything we needed, including a mini fridge and safe. The mattress is very firm, which some guests may not like, but for us it was absolutely perfect – genuinely the best sleep we had during our entire trip around Sicily.
The pool is lovely for swimming and relaxing, with a small gym nearby and private parking. Swimming caps are generally required, although longer hair can simply be tied up. One rule we found difficult to understand was that sunscreen and creams are not allowed when using the pool. Under the strong Sicilian sun, trying to follow this unfortunately contributed to me getting badly sunburnt.
There were a few other minor drawbacks: very low water pressure in the bathroom, a small TV with Italian channels only, and a somewhat inflexible pool towel replacement policy. However, these were relatively small issues.
The absolute highlight was breakfast. Prepared personally by the owner, it was outstanding – generous, fresh, homemade and beautifully presented. She explains what has been prepared each morning and what everything is made from. In terms of quality and taste, this was honestly one of the best breakfasts we have ever had anywhere.
The surrounding area itself is fairly quiet, with limited dining options, and some nearby beaches were unfortunately rather poorly maintained. A car is definitely useful. However if you are looking for peace, nature and somewhere to genuinely slow down and switch off, this is a wonderful place.

The owners were lovely, cleaning perfect and the minibar not overpriced. The breakfast is homemade cakes and marmalade and lots of fresh fruit and juices. Lovely pool, was super calm and fresh. Close to everywhere, obviously need to arrive by car.

Excellent place and extremely clean! The owners are very welcoming and attentive. The room was a great size, and the pool was large and pristine. Delicious breakfast, too!
You could hear a bit of talking from the room, but only when people were passing by the front door.

The facilities were unique and great, staff were readily available and accommodating. The breakfasts were outstanding with great home-made treats. The amount of food served was so much that we even had plenty for lunch!
Everything was spot on!
