Our family was here on a 4 night vacation and it was DIVINE! The staff was incredible with our 4-year old daughter. They let her do loads of arts and crafts, watched over her while we had a sunset canoo experience and held her hand walking to dinner. This spot has not been discovered by many western tourists yet, but it is beautiful. The lake is stunning, you can go on a boatride and feed the baboons and dine under an ancient tree filled with red lanterns that light up as the sky over the lake darkens.
This resort is completely ready to host western tourists, but some things may take some explaining to the staff. However, if you're willing to do that, they are very kind and help you.
