a great spot in the centre of Buzios but private and amaxing views across the bay

outstanding location with stunning view and central parking too. Host was very welcoming. Layout of flat made for a restful stay and the view from the main bedroom was wonderful

Could have been a little cleaner in the kitchen and a shortage of plates

Exceptional

Lúcia was a wonderful host. She communicated well and directed us to the property promptly upon arrival at Buzios. The apartment is in a wonderful location near the beach and restaurants.

Great location for exploring the town

Location and view was great, facing the water with a beautiful balcony that had a hammock and chairs. You will be staying very close to Rua das Pedras and a variety of restaurants. Hosts were flexible and even gave us the option of checking out at the end of the day instead of the standard 12.00pm, which was great and gave us time to explore a little more and leave at our own pace.

Facilities could use an upgrade, but no serious issues. One concern for me was that I could hear the people in the room next door when i was using the bathroom.

Disappointing

View from the room was lovely and there was a simplicity about the apartment that was charming - if it had been refurbished that is. I was suffering with a fever and the cleaner changed the sheets and top cover with our hesitation. If I had been there specifically to party, not wanting to spend much time in the room then I would probably have liked it better.

The very worst thing was that local properties below played really loud music until 2/3 am. I like to sleep without air conditioning and so there was nothing to mask the noise - having said that my friends in other rooms who did use the air conditioning said they also found the noise disturbing. Whilst the apartment was generally clean it felt neglected. Considering how nice Buzios is and how much money its visitors appear to have it seemed disappointing to have a door that didn't close properly, a very yellow old looking mattress, a fridge with a rusty top surface, no bedside or mood lighting and a standard of furbishment of an age that of course there were dirty looking corners etc. I was ill and so I wanted to stay in the room and rest but the standard and the noise meant I did not want to stay. We left after 2 nights despite having booked for six. As the deposit was for three nights it would have been nice for the owners to waive the other three nights but they did not. I wasn't surprised though.
