This was our second stay at Kay Hotel. The staff was pleasant and proactive as they usually are. The hotel was impressively upgraded from our last stay in February 2026. The entire lobby has be refurbished. Our room was freshly painted and there is now an outdoor Cafe at the entrance, over looking the river. We had drinks there and it was quite relaxing. We'll definitely stay here again.

Im grossen und ganzen sauber (abgesehen vom Schimmel)
Die eine Wand ist offensichtlich stark verschimmelt, was einfach mit Farbe überstrichen wurde. Auch der Geruch im Zimmer war entsprechend „modrig“.
In der ersten Nacht haben wir dann auch die Ursache für den Schimmel entdeckt, nämlich die tropfende Klimaanlage (der Boden war am morgen klatschnass).
Dies sollte unbedingt behoben werden und geht unserer Meinung nach gar nicht, auch wenn die Unterkunff sehr günstig ist! Zudem ist der WC-Deckel defekt und hält bei der Befestigung nicht mehr. Insgesammt wirkt das Zimmer vernachlässigt.
