Location is superb for the Cathedral, 5 mins walk to the lively Rua do Franco bars and a big shout for the very nearby cafe of LaMorena for breakfast. Very good. Apartment is great, has what you'll need, splendid views out across gardens, but it does have constraints for some people to consider. Good value for 3 of us.
Be warned, the stairs to the loft sleeping area are quite precarious, very steep and the ceiling up there is low. Perhaps not for those with mobility issues or back problems. Fine for us. It was hot to sleep in the loft space.

Location to Cathedral and old town was just a 5 minutes walk away. Lovely airy apartment even during exceptionally high temperatures for the area. Comfortable bed. Lovely decor. All the facilities you need for a short break. Host sent details of how to work the coffee machine and dishwasher etc. and was on the end of a Whats App to answer any queries we might have re parking etc. Provided coffee for the machine. Lovely lounge overlooking a garden and although the apartment was on a main road to the main square once the shutters were closed it was very quiet.
The heat but that was nothing to do with the host. An act of God in the wettest part of Spain.
