Period charm, plenty of room, ok wifi, luxurious bath, strong shower, good modern kitchen suitable for proper cooking, machine to wash clothes, nice pub opposite. Host was friendly without being intrusive. Nice walks very nearby and also a good base for exploring wider area. Marlborough is not far, is very attractive and has good supermarket on the right side of town.
A few cleaning omissions. Upstairs bathroom open to staircase - lacks privacy. Very low ceilings and doors. Stairs tricky even for the fully-fit. Parking space only suits smallest cars.

What a lovely cottage right opposite a gorgeous village pub that serves excellent food. The host was amazing and called us before we checked in to offer additional information about the property and the area. He also stayed in touch. The house had everything we needed, was extremely comfortable and cosy. We stayed with two teens and two dogs and there was plenty of space. The kitchen is well kitted out and is a lovely large space for a cottage. I’d definitely recommend it.
