Great, friendly staff. As a girl traveling alone for this trip I felt very safe staying here, it was calm and quiet. Good A/C and no moist air. There was a clean (although a bit rusty on the outside, but the city is in a rainforest...) fridge that worked good.
There were no safetybox on the room but I feelt safe enough to leave money in the room anyways, the room was looked by one key that you had to leave in the reception qhen going ou.

The location is good, my room was fine, the staff helpful and friendly, the breakfast more than satisfactory. I was grateful for the ceiling fan that kept me cool in the very hot and humid climate. It's a pretty plain place but it was fine for my modest needs.
If you're a smoker, there's no smoking area, you must go out onto the footpath, although that wasn't a big problem.
