Clean, comfortable, modern hotel, well situated to visit Burgundy and as a stop-off on the way south or north through France as we did.
Dinner in the restaurant was disappointing and not up to expectations but the breakfast was good.

Reception staff were welcoming and professional. The room rate of €130 felt reasonable, and some elements of the dinner were quite good.
The room felt as though it had been closed for some time and had an unpleasant smell on arrival, and the toilet was not properly cleaned. The restaurant offered only a “surprise” menu with no alternative options; while some dishes were enjoyable, others felt a little unusual in flavour and presentation. The wine list was largely focused on higher price points with limited mid-range choice, and although a sommelier was mentioned, we did not receive any guidance. We also felt the service from some of the younger staff lacked warmth and attentiveness, and overall did not quite reflect the standard we were expecting.
