VEGAN b&b central Bruges

Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und uns hat gefallen, dass wir vorher gefragt wurden wie viel wir im einzelnen wollten. Dadurch musste später wenig weggeworfen werden. Das Zimmer war schön geräumig. Die Lage ist schön, man blickt auf Wasser und Bäume und ist leicht zu Fuß im Zentrum.

Super vriendelijke host. Geweldige ligging in een rustige omgeving op loopafstand van t'Zand en station.Heerlijk ontbijt. Zeer mooie geslaagde renovatie van de woning.

De trappen voor mensen die moeilijk te been zijn.

You don’t see the hosts except at breakfast. And they are stingy with the quantity of food. You will have to get breakfast again. They responded to my review and said they had offered a big menu. They keep sending you WhatsApp notifications and ask you what you want and mention that they don't like food waste. I was having a hectic trip through Europe and only responded to them one day before my arrival. I don't know why they would want to know exactly what you want for breakfast days before you arrive. Only B&B that chased me for this information. They claim to have a LARGE breakfast. If they mean it, they should have it out for their guests and allow them to choose whatever they want. Why insist on naming everything you want ahead of time? And one of the things I chose is a "savory dip". It tasted great, but it was literally 2 teaspoons in a small shot glass. It was the same with vegan cheese. Tasty but miniscule portion size. This is their idea of breakfast. I may be American, but the quantities they give you are not even enough for a 5-year old. I am NOT a big guy and don't eat a lot. They ruined a perfectly tasty breakfast by not offering the entire spread of what they offer and allowing guests to pick what they wanted. I have stayed in B&Bs all over Europe and this was the most insufficient breakfast I ever had. By the way, breakfast is only served from 9 am and you have to ring a bell downstairs and then you will be admitted into the breakfast area. On the positive side, they packed me a breakfast on my day of departure because I was leaving early in the morning. Again, the quantities were so insufficient that it wouldn't fill a 5-year old. If they are serious about the breakfast, they should have a spread and let the customers choose. Otherwise, it is false advertising. Plus you can't look at the menu and know the portion sizes. No air con and the place was hot even though they had a fan in the room.
