A very grand house which is perfect for escaping the city for some family time. We purposely picked a spot away from Mandurah CBD. Such a clean spotless house. Found it to be very private and cosy, thoughtfully decorated and good size rooms / robes for long stays. Spa and sauna a real bonus. Full kitchen facilities with enough plates, glasses and cutlery, cooking equipment. We absolutely loved having a Nespresso machine. You may need to prep variety in your menu instead of one large item, because the pots are ok for 3-4 servings. As long as you have a car, it's easy to get to and there are shops in Austin Lakes (IGA also), just a few minutes away. No need to go all the way to town. There's a Spudshed just out on Pinjarra road. Outdoors is beautiful and if you walk to the road, there's a nice walking trail along the water. Washing machine provided. We loved all the sofa areas, and plenty of books, jigsaw puzzles and games. Lots of instructions provided and this makes it easy. We didn't stay long enough but would have loved to use the kayaks and fishing rods. Fun watching people come and go on their boats.
There's no dishwasher and dryer, in case you needed that. And we brought our own linen (just sheets for the bed and towels) to save some money. The sun's reflection comes onto the TV from the dining area windows. Maybe a curtain at the TV room 'doorway' would work. We couldn't get the aircond-heater in the master bedroom on, thankfully the bed came with an electric blanket. Not sure why it was like that, the remote had batteries. No complains really. Just pointing out some helpful info.

Big and spacious house, the canal view is amazing, greeted by a Pelican a few times during our stay. Spa, sauna and canoes and crab nets provided. Lake down the road is gorgeous, it was like a mirror when we were there around 5 to 6pm. Great value for a budget friendly family getaway. The new playground in Austin Lakes a must visit, short drive away.
Kitchen utensils lacking. No sponge and dish washing liquid, nearest shop around 7mins drive at Austin Lakes. Bring your own pot and pan if you plan to do a lot of cooking.

Location and house is great
The floors had not been vacuumed or mopped cobwebs everywhere utensils and coffee cups and glasses were dirty maybe a dishwasher would be good so they are washed properly
Bbq was filthy, windows filthy. Couldn’t get the spa to work. Beds need toppers and new pillows
